Final Good Times with Good Friends!
My dear, sweet friend Bindya Khunti came over from Pleasanton once more for lunch. We asked Jeannette Choe to join us, she has been such a wonderful friend over all these years. One of the coolest 6' tall woman you will ever see!
Tonight we began the final journey of emptying the house and loading what we needed in the motorhome....boy, that's a challenge. It is so amazing how much that motorhome will hold...it has lots of little cubby holes. I just hope I remember what I put in what cubby hole when I need a certain thing!
Today I heard from so many of the wonderful Siemens friends that I've made over the years. They don't know what an impact each and every one of them have made on me.
Tomorrow, the final push before the movers come on Thursday! Whew, I'm tired of moving!

Getting Ready
After over 16 years of working in international sales with Siemens Medical Systems, I'm hanging it up on March 31st. Both my husband, David and I will be leaving the state to return to our home state of Tennessee. I'm wrapping up details to leave the state, get moved across country and saying goodbye to our many wonderful friends we've made in California.
Friday, I had a wonderful going away dinner given by one of my friends with 3 other close friends in attendance. Who knew that Liz was such a wonderful cook and could put on such a grand event! We savored crab cocktail to Smores with her homemade graham crackers! Delicious!!!
Saturday, I had dinner at Back 40 with the Silverstein's and the Allphin's. These times makes you realize how many people come into your lives as you are busy trying to make a career. Actually, Kathy Allphin was the one who gave me the idea for this blog....thanks, I think, Kathy!
Today, I had lunch with my very good friends with Toshiba at a wonderful restaurant at the Berkeley Marina. My job had made it possible to meet so many amazing people, thanks for everything Christina and Mae!
We're basically packed...no kitchen anymore...can't cook;-( Bathroom is packed with the exception of my towels, make-up, hair dryer and flat-iron. Movers will be here on Thursday morning bright and early!
I've just completed my last Monday at work and will work tomorrow and Thursday. After that, I'm on vacation until the 31st! We will be going to Jackson, CA, for a long weekend with our dear friends, the Tatton's. We love that place and the RV park is just amazing!
We also have to say goodbye to the wonderful California weather! It has been in the high 70's and 80's the past few days, and we know it isn't like this back in Tennessee just yet!
Well, we are off to take food out of the house freezer and put in the motorhome freezer....tick, tick, tick...
